Award-winning corporate finance boutique fds Director Services advises on the acquisition of controlling interest in Nautech Services to international company iPS Powerful People.

Operating from its headquarters in Jersey, Nautech Services is an established provider of temporary and permanent survey and marine personnel to organisations all over the world. In addition to providing personnel services, Nautech also offers equipment and survey solutions for a variety of projects.

The acquirer, iPS Powerful People, has a presence in 20 countries and is a global partner for maritime, energy, and civil engineering companies dealing with complex challenges in the area of recruitment and payroll services.

Poonam Kaur, managing director of fds based in Wakefield, led the deal on behalf of Peter Harrison, owner and managing director of Nautech, to ensure an effective and timely completion. Throughout the deal Poonam held the transaction together and was in constant communication with both parties to minimise any delays.
