An Insight Into The World of a Non-Executive Director - Wednesday 10 March 2021, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
This workshop will provide an introduction to the world of the non-executive director (NED) and aims to provide you with real first-hand practical tips on what the role actually includes and importantly how to access them.
How to Build a Board of World-Class Directors - Thursday 15 April 2021, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
In this workshop, Jo will share how and why companies should analyse the strengths and weaknesses in the board and how to plan actions. Including how to 'change' the people, future-proofing the board and what that could look like, how to identify and retain key talent and how to ensure continuous improvement is achieved in the board.
Understanding Finance for Non-Financial Directors - Wednesday 19 May 2021, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Attendees will leave this workshop with the knowledge and confidence of how to better interpret their own and others financial information, this will include: balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, understanding financial terminology, learning tricks of the trade and understanding cash management as well as an introduction to financial analysis.
A Director's Guide to Being the Best in The Business - Tuesday 29 June 2021, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
In this interactive workshop, Jo will provide participants (people who are aspiring to be in a directorship or are currently in one) with an overall understanding of the role and responsibilities of a director. Including how to carry out the role effectively and to protect both the individual and the corporation, as far as practical from potential liabilities.
