We have expanded our team yet further with the addition of Gillian Van Laarhoven as our Commercial Director.
The appointment of Gillian is the next stage on our exciting journey as a growing business support company, adding her considerable industry knowledge, skill and expertise to our already ambitious and innovative team.
Gillian has over 20 years’ executive board experience across global businesses. She has worked in SMEs, private businesses and PLCs with revenues ranging from £5M to £500M successfully identifying, developing and executing strategies, which capitalise on growth opportunities or drive performance improvement.
Her strong financial and business acumen and diverse experiences in leading multimillion projects means Gillian is well placed to support us with our ambitious growth and development plans.
The business support, NED and consultancy aspects of fds have grown considerably in recent months and, to maintain our superior level of service to the businesses we work with, Gillian will be working closely with our CEO Jo Haigh and MD Poonam Kaur to increase our capacity and capabilities.
CEO Jo Haigh set up fds in 1989 and in the last few years we have experienced a period of change and considerable growth. With the advent of new skills, and an increasing product and service line, we will continue to offer specialist corporate finance advice but will also provide key business decision makers and owners with honest, creative and personal support throughout their business journeys.
